Ruby Walshโs Sunday Racing Tips
12:40 โย Cottesloe Sunshine (each-way)

13:40 โ Kopek Des Bordes (NAP)
14:10 โ Gaelic Warrior
14:45 โ James Du Berlais
15:20 โ Lossiemouth
15:50 โ McLaurey

12:40 โ Cottesloe Sunshine (each-way)
Straight Home won last time out when she got off the mark at Clonmel and sheโs still racing off a competitive weight.
COTTESLOE SUNSHINE did well to win over 2m at Thurles and she was crying out for further. She gets that here going over 2m 2f and sheโs a decent each-way price.
13:10 โ Ballyburn
BALLYBURN was just outpaced at Kempton and thereโs no shame in chasing home Sir Gino. That was over 2m, which just didnโt suit him and heโs back up to 2m 5f now.
Heโs a magnificent horse and while Impaire Et Passe has regained his mojo in his last few runs, I canโt go against Ballyburn.
13:40 โ Kopek Des Bordes (NAP)
Willie Mullins has six declared and KOPEK DES BORDES (NAP) tops the market, while Kaid Dauthie is a nice horse.
Kopek Des Bordes has done much more schooling since winning at Leopardstown over Christmas, so he should jump a lot better.
14:10 โ Gaelic Warrior
GAELIC WARRIOR is wearing a tongue tie and I hope his fitness has improved significantly since chasing home Solness in the Paddyโs Rewards Club Chase over course and distance in December. I also hope he blows them away. Quilixios deserves a small mention, as he could be overpriced.
14:45 โ James Du Berlais
Iโm going to follow my โcliffโ horse once again, JAMES DU BERLAIS. This is the right trip for him and I thought he was home and hosed in the Topham Handicap at Aintree last year. Iโm in the ocean with him at this stage and heโs solid so Iโll just keep going!
15:20 โ Lossiemouth
LOSSIEMOUTH and State Man battle it out in the Irish Champion Hurdle and Paul Townend has opted to ride the latter, who is going for his third win in this 2m Grade One contest. Itโs a heart-against-head decision for him. The form choice is Lossiemouth and itโs sometimes worth siding with the younger runner. I canโt really split them though!
15:50 โ McLaurey
I would love to see Emmet Mullinsโ MCLAUREY win this. Heโs got a great mark of 120 after winning at Limerick in December and providing he holds his place in the market, heโs worth siding with.
16:25 โ Future Prospect & Blue Velvet (each-way)
BLUE VELVETย looks overpriced, butย FUTURE PROSPECT looks very good and Patrick Mullins has sided with the latter. Thereโs no reason why Blue Velvet should be such a big price.
