What a game this will be! Manchester United are 7th in the Europa League table, they did lose 3-1 to Brighton at the weekend, but Ruben Amorim’s quote that they are maybe the worst team in United’s history is so significant.
He’s felt the need to say it. It’s remarkable, but England v Scotland gets the blood boiling in any sporting competition. Rangers are 8th in the table and have drawn with Tottenham already this season – so they’ve played an English side already.
They come into this on a seven-game unbeaten run, but I think Man United will be the better side. I fancy United to win the game and Bruno Fernandes really enjoys these European nights and he’s worth a look to score or assist.
Rasmus Hojlund is the top scorer in the competition with five goals and, although he was atrocious at the weekend, I think he prefers this competition, it’s more to his liking.
Jack Butland needs to have a good game in goal for Rangers and he’ll need to make 2+ saves which pushes up the Bet Builder a little. I’m looking forward to this one.
