This is a fantastic story for Shamrock Rovers. This is what the Conference League is all about. When it first started, I was a bit unsure, but then West Ham went and won it, and that was a brilliant night.
It allows teams like Shamrock Rovers and other Irish sides to have the opportunity to progress in Europe.
16-year-old Noonan scored the only goal last week. Then he went off to school the very next day, and his mum brilliantly took a picture of him in the morning on his way. I thought that was brilliant!
I wish him all the best. It’s a great story, and I’m going with my heart here and back the Irishmen to get the job done with a win.
I fancy they will play with a 5-4-1 formation. The crowd will be ecstatic, and that will drive them on. I’m going for Rovers to win and keep a clean sheet.
