This is a quickfire repeat of the FA Cup game which Brighton won last week, For Brighton, a win in this game would keep them in the hunt for Europe this season, and that is their focus.
They are also the Premier League team with the most draws so far this season, with 10. Chelsea are unable to keep a clean sheet right now, they concede goals regularly – but going forward, they look brilliant.
I think this one will be a draw. Based on Chelsea’s form at both ends of the pitch, I will go for both teams to score in the game.
Looking at player picks, I’m going for Cole Palmer to have 3+ shots – that’s a great bet – he’s currently averaging 3.64 shots per game and I think Brighton will allow that against them.
Also one for punters to take a look at it is Enzo Fernandez to commit two or more fouls. He’s averaging 1.6 per match right now and this Brighton team will demand that he puts his foot in against them in midfield.
I think both sides will have opportunities in front of goal, so I’ll add in Bart Verbruggen to make three or more saves for Brighton, he’s on 2.7 per game as an average, and Chelsea will test him.
