Swansea City vs Sheffield United – Sheffield United to win
Swansea City are winless in their previous four league matches following a 3-0 defeat against Cardiff City. The home side have also suffered defeats against Southampton (3-0) and Portsmouth (4-0), whilst gaining a draw at home to West Bromwich Albion (1-1). Benfica have only won once at home in the competition this season and were recently held to a 0-0 draw against Bologna on home soil. Barcelona have been brilliant in Europe, with five wins and one loss from six matches. The visitors come into this unbeaten in their previous five matches in all competitions and are unbeaten in their last five away matches on record. Barcelona have won two of their three Champions League games in 2024/25, against Borussia Dortmund (2-3) and Crvena Zvezda (2-5)
Slovan Bratislava vs Stuttgart – Stuttgart to win
Slovan Bratislava are winless in the Champions League this season, having scored only five and conceded 21 goals in six matches. The home side are without a clean sheet in their previous five matches and have failed to score in two of their six Champions League games. Stuttgart are unbeaten in their previous four matches in all competitions and come into this game having won their last three consecutive fixtures. The visitors have won two of their previous four matches in this competition, beating Young Boys (5-1) and Juventus (0-1).
Liverpool vs Lille – Liverpool to win
Liverpool have a perfect record in this competition, with six wins from six, and the Reds only seek a point for qualification. Since the 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, the Reds are unbeaten at home in all competitions whilst also recording impressive victories against Real Madrid (2-0) and Bayer Leverkusen (4-0). Lille are eighth in the standings after six games, having produced four wins, one draw and a loss. Bologna vs Borussia Dortmund – Borussia Dortmund to win
Bologna are chasing their first win in the Champions League, as the Italian side have only gained two points from a possible 18 after six games. Bologna have lost their previous two home games in this competition against Lille (1-2) and AS Monaco (0-1). Borussia Dortmund are ninth in the standings and only a point behind the top eight automatic places. Dortmund have won four of their six matches with impressive results against Celtic (7-1), Club Brugge (0-3) and Dinamo Zagreb (0-3).
