I’m absolutely baffled by Manchester City. I’m doing that thing that you shouldn’t do as a punter: chasing. You know it’s going to happen soon but not exactly when.
I just look at the quality on the pitch against Aston Villa in their last match, and the logical side of my brain tells me that there are enough good players to work it out. But, what we see is a team that just gets broken on, left, right, and centre.
Villa’s Morgan Rogers was superb in that match, he’s a real star. City just cannot seem to pin teams in like they used to. But, having said that, I’m still going to back them to turn it around here.
Everton are off the back of a good result at home to Chelsea (0-0), Sean Dyche is doing what Sean Dyche does but I can see Man City winning by 2-0 and Erling Haaland must score, he simply must.
Everton just don’t have the legs that Villa had, and that will really affect them when they’re against City’s counterattacks. So, it’s a 2-0 win for City here.
