There are five NFL games in the late slate this weekend – and even a Monday night playoff game –  and it all gets underway on Saturday night, so we’re going to create our best Multi Match Bet Builder across the slate.

Aiming for the endzone with his top tips and working on his playo1ff beard, it’s Sam Farley…

Saturday’s NFL Multi-Match Bet Builder

9:30pm LA Chargers @ Houston Texans – LA Chargers ML

Heading into Wild Card Weekend, it appears that the Texans are the home team most likely to get beaten. They are tied for the division winner with the least wins, which, given the lack of depth in the AFC South, is a concern. Injuries have hampered the Texans this season, but the offense, as a whole, has regressed, with CJ Stroud looking half of the player we saw in his rookie campaign.

With five defeats since November, there’s a real chance the Chargers will win this. Jim Harbaugh has built the Chargers team in his image. They have a great offensive line that can protect QB Justin Herbert or create running lanes for JK Dobbins. The quality of that offensive line and the ability to implement their game plan should be enough for the win.

1am – Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens – Baltimore Ravens -9.5

The Steelers trip to Maryland to face the Ravens has the biggest spread of any game in this Wild Card Round, and with good reason. The two teams battled for the AFC North title, a fight which the Ravens won, winning five of their past six games, including a 34-17 victory over the Steelers in the final game before Christmas.

The Ravens have scored 30+ points in four straight games, and despite the injury to Zay Flowers, they have the tools, and most importantly, the quarterback, to take the Steelers to pieces again. The Steelers have overperformed this season, but aside from excellent coaching, they have a good defense and a mediocre offense. This is the end of their journey.

Mark Andrews anytime touchdown

Five weeks into the season and Mark Andrews hadn’t scored a touchdown. That led to a variety of think pieces and experts saying that he was washed and that the Ravens had moved past him.

Since then, he’s found the endzone 11 times and is, once again, a crucial cog in the Ravens’ offense. He’s been one of Lamar Jackson’s favorite targets for as long as they’ve played together and leads the Ravens in red zone targets. He’s scored in six straight games, including that last match against the Steelers, and given the absence of Flowers, he’s likely to hoover up even more targets.

Lamar Jackson, Under 50.5 rushing yards

The MVP race looks like a toss-up between Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, but for me, it’s Jackson, and the quarterback is set to lead his team into yet another playoff game. We know all about Lamar’s ability with his feet, but this season, he’s grown further as a pocket passer, with 41 touchdown passes and just four interceptions.

Despite that, he’s still rushed for 915 yards, an average of 53 yards per game. However, this isn’t just any game. He’s facing a Steelers’ D who have allowed just 98.7 rushing yards per game, the sixth-fewest of any team in the league.

In two games against the Steelers, Jackson has rushed for 46 and 22 yards. The team will continue to rely heavily on Derrick Henry on the ground and despite the injury to Flowers, as well as the must-win nature of playoff football, we can still expect Under 50.5 rushing yards for the 28-year-old.

Calvin Austin III, over 25.5 receiving yards

With the Steelers coming into this game as big underdogs, we can expect a game script that sees them playing from behind and playing from behind most often means lots of passing.

George Pickens gets the plaudits, but Calvin Austin has quietly cemented himself as a key part of the offense. He’s averaged 32.2 receiving yards per game, and last time out against the Ravens, he caught four of five targets for 65 yards. He’s had 26 or more receiving yards in five of his past seven games and faces a Ravens’ defense who have allowed 244.1 passing yards per game, the second most in the NFL.
