Stamina looked like a strong suit for VENDANT when he went close over an extended 2m5f at Fontwell recently, and this lightly raced 7yo is selected to get off the mark. The step up in trip is also an interesting move for Lumi Plugin and he is feared most ahead of Grove Road.

None of these can be ruled out, but this could go to ITS MAISY, who could take a sizeable step forward from her promising chasing debut fourth at Wetherby now she is back over a staying trip. Leicester runner-up Northern Reel could emerge as the main danger with blinkers added, although in-form pair Asa and Baby Chou seem sure to be on the premises too.

Topweight THEONLYWAYISWESSEX impressed over C&D last time and can defy a 10lb rise. The in-form John W Creasy could be the main danger ahead of Ede’iffs Rock, who has also been running well.
18:30 Wolverhampton – You Are Everything (Telegraph)
With the return to 7f well worth exploring, in-form maiden YOU ARE EVERYTHING is taken to get off the mark. Big Narstie (second choice) is interesting back at classified level and Miss Calculation is a solid contender, while closely matched rivals Bernie The Bear and Ajrad are also in the mix.
