Willie Mullins’ JARRIVE DE MEE created an excellent impression when making a winning hurdles debut at Thurles and is impossible to side against in this ordinary novice hurdle with considerably more to come in all likelihood and son Patrick in the saddle again.

Gentleman Bill also has better days ahead of him and appeals as the one to chase him home ahead of course-and-distance third Tyson Magoo and bumper runner-up The Clonmel Kid.

14:08 – Hobb’s Delight

HOBB’S DELIGHT showed he’s got a race of this nature within reach when just touched off at Plumpton three starts ago and, having performed creditably when fourth to West Orchard at Wincanton in a conditionals race five weeks ago, he rates one of the likelier types with Neil Mulholland fitting him with cheekpieces for the first time.

Tedwin Hills, if bouncing back, and Super Citizen are others to consider, and Aazza, who is giving fences another try, is another to note.

14:38 – Komedy Kicks

KOMEDY KICKS confirmed the promise of her first start for Dan Skelton with a last-to-first success at Kelso just over three weeks ago. However, a 5 lb rise for that beating of She’s Notjoeking may not be enough to prevent a follow-up with further progress in the offing.

Diamond Koda is proving consistent and should give another good account off top weight back in a handicap, with Kazontherazz, who ran her best race of the season last time, and Final Edgar, who is back over hurdles, others to note.

15:08 – Mr Mahler

MR MAHLER made a promising start over fences for Joel Parkinson & Sue Smith when a staying-on fourth behind Pescatorius over two miles here last time. He can build on it to gain a breakthrough victory now his stamina is being tested more.

I’m Too Tired is only a five-year-old and feared most on the back of his Sedgefield success on Boxing Day, ahead of in-form pair Get A Superstar and Just Gino, who were both placed over course and distance last time out.

15:38 – Far Away West

FAR AWAY WEST produced a couple of her better efforts for Daisy Hitchins when making the frame in handicaps at Stratford and Exeter in the autumn, so she looks an interesting contender on her first outing since joining Dan Skelton.

She can leave behind her latest run in a seller as she starts off for her leading yard, with the in-form Bathgate next on the list after his second at Doncaster last time, ahead of fellow top-weight Sea Legend, who goes handicapping after just two starts.

16:08 – Dilly’s Gunner

DILLY’S GUNNER hails from the yard of Mick & David Easterby, whose newcomers usually come on plenty for their initial experience, so having shaped with plenty of promise when runner-up at Wetherby on her debut, she gets the vote to go one better at the expense of Merely A Detail who won first time up at Doncaster but found listed company all too much at Cheltenham on New Year’s Day.

Stable-switcher Tilehurst and Regal River can both get involved, too.
