Bournemouth v Liverpool – Liverpool to win

Despite being in excellent form, Bournemouth have an unwanted record of four straight defeats against Arne Slot’s side. The Cherries have won three of their previous five home league matches but dropped points to Crystal Palace (0-0) and West Ham United (1-1).

Liverpool have an excellent away record in the division, with Arne Slot’s side unbeaten away from home with eight wins and three draws. Liverpool are unbeaten in their previous five away Premier League matches, securing victories against Brentford (0-2), West Ham United (0-5) and Tottenham Hotspur (3-6).

Everton v Leicester City – Everton to win

Everton’s form has improved since David Moyes’s arrival. In his second spell as manager, the former West Ham United manager restored some faith at Goodison Park.

The Toffees are coming into this game with two consecutive wins against Brighton & Hove Albion (0-1) and Tottenham Hotspur (3-2), following David Moyes’ opening defeat against Aston Villa (0-1).

Leicester City’s recent away win against Tottenham Hotspur (1-2) ended a run of seven consecutive Premier League defeats.

The win against Tottenham Hotspur also marked Leicester City’s first away victory in six league matches – with the Foxes suffering defeats against Aston Villa (2-1), Liverpool (3-1), Newcastle United (4-0), Brentford (4-1) and Manchester United (3-0).

Newcastle v Fulham – Newcastle to win

The Magpies have won seven of their previous eight Premier League matches and nine of their last ten matches in all competitions – suffering only one defeat against Bournemouth (1-4).

During this unprecedented run of form for the home side, Newcastle United have recorded victories against Manchester United (0-2), Tottenham Hotspur (1-2), and Southampton (1-3).

Fulham need to improve their form. The visitors have only won once in their last five Premier League matches. The Cottagers’ win against Leicester City (0-2) was their only win in five. In their most recent games, they also lost to West Ham United (3-2) and Manchester United (0-1).

Derby County v Sheffield United – Sheffield United to win

Derby County have suffered seven consecutive losses in all competitions and six straight losses in the league. The Rams have also suffered three consecutive losses on home soil, with defeats against Watford (0-2), Sunderland (0-1) and Leeds United (0-1).

The home side have not kept a clean sheet in their previous nine matches in all competitions.

Sheffield United have been excellent away from home in recent weeks, with the Blades winning four of their previous five league matches away from home. Chris Wilder’s team have picked up away victories against Watford (1-2), Swansea City (1-2), Cardiff City (0-2) and Millwall (0-1).

Sheffield Wednesday v Luton Town – Sheffield Wednesday to win

Sheffield Wednesday are unbeaten in their last four home matches in the Championship, with eight points gained from a possible 12 on offer. The Owls have drawn their last two home league games against Bristol City (2-2) and Millwall (2-2). Before that, they had victories against Derby County (4-2) and Stoke City (2-0).

Luton Town have no wins in their last eight consecutive matches in all competitions, only gaining one point from their previous three league games. The Hatters’ away record is abysmal, with 11 straight defeats and only one win away from home this season.

Portsmouth v Burnley – Burnley to win

Portsmouth have lost three of their last five league games, suffering defeats against the likes of Blackburn Rovers (3-0), Millwall (0-1) and West Bromwich Albion (1-5). The hosts have not kept a clean sheet in their previous seven games and have been susceptible defensively, conceding first in six of their last seven games.

Burnley have the best away record in the Championship, with only two losses from 15 league games on their travels. The Clarets are unbeaten in their last 17 matches in all competitions, with the visitors winning four of their previous five away from home in the Championship.

Burnley’s last away fixture resulted in a 5-0 demolition of Plymouth Argyle for the Clarets.

Birmingham City v Rotherham United – Birmingham to win

League leaders Birmingham City are in tremendous form, with the Blues unbeaten in their last 16 matches in all competitions.

Birmingham City are unbeaten at home this season, following four wins from their last five on home soil – including victories against Exeter City (1-0), Burton Albion (2-0), Bristol Rovers (2-0) and Stockport County (2-0).

Rotherham United are winless in the last four meetings between the two sides and come into this game with three losses from their previous five away from home. The Millers have suffered defeats against Burton Albion (4-2), Mansfield Town (1-0) and Crawley Town (1-0).

The visitors lack a clean sheet in their last three matches in all competitions.

Cambridge United v Wycombe Wanderers – Wycombe to win

Cambridge United are coming into this game following a 2-1 defeat to Rotherham United and three losses in their last five league matches.

The hosts have suffered three home defeats in their previous five games against Bristol Rovers (0-1), Reading (3-1), and Huddersfield Town (0-4). They have not kept a clean sheet in all competitions in their last 14 games.

Wycombe Wanderers are unbeaten in their previous four games following a 2-1 away win at Mansfield Town. The Chairboys have won four of their last six away matches in the league, with victories against the likes of Stevenage (0-3), Shrewsbury Town (1-4) and Lincoln City (2-3).

Wycombe Wanderers are also unbeaten in their last three league games.
