12:30pm: Oxford United v Bristol City โ€“ Oxford United draw no bet

Despite leading them to promotion, boyhood Oxford United fan Des Buckingham was dismissed a few months into the season, with the experienced Gary Rowett hired as his replacement. It is proving to be a successful decision, with Rowettโ€™s side flying under his guise, now eight unbeaten in the league.

The main tripe under Buckingham was the away form, with Oxford too easy to beat on the road. Rowett has addressed this and The Uโ€™s are now unbeaten in their last four away from home. At Kassam Stadium, they have been hard to beat, winning their last four and losing just three times in 15 en route to 28 points.

The visitors are Bristol City, a side three points off the playoffs. However, Liam Manningโ€™s side have struggled on the road, without a win in seven and winning just three times on the road. Given the sidesโ€™ contrasting home/away forms, the value sides with the hosts.

3pm: Cambridge United v Wycombe Wanderers โ€“ Over 2.5 goals

Cambridgeโ€™s situation is getting desperate, with The Uโ€™s now six points from safety after just one win from nine. Gary Monk will also be worried about his sideโ€™s defensive issues. The 49 conceded is the second most in the league, conceding at least two in nine of their last ten.

While over 2.5 goals have only landed in 13/27 league games for Cambridge, it has landed in ten of their last 12 games in all competitions โ€“ except the 2-0 loss at Leyton Orient and the 0-1 loss with ten men at home to Bristol Rovers.

Making the journey east are Wycombe โ€“ buoyed by a last-minute winner against Barnsley. The 2-1 victory put them six clear of the chasing pack for the automatics and may inspire a run in the coming weeks. The Chairboys have been potent in attack, scoring a league-high 54 goals, with talisman Richard Kone leading the way with 16.

Of their 14 away games, only the 0-1 win at Wigan has seen less than three goals, with these games averaging 3.79 goals.

3pm: Leyton Orient v Stockport County โ€“ Leyton Orient draw no bet

Fresh off a 2-6 dismantling of Exeter, Leyton Orient come into the game occupying the final play-off spot, looking to leapfrog their visitors into fifth. Richie Wellensโ€™ side are the form team in League One and are now 11 games unbeaten, including nine wins.ย

The Oโ€™s have scored 26 goals in this run, keeping nine clean sheets.ย  At Brisbane Road, Orient have lost just four times and are unbeaten in six.

Stockport are sat three points and one place above Orient, having played a game more.

David Chalinorโ€™s side have won their last three, but two were at home to sides in the relegation zone. It hasnโ€™t fully clicked away from home for the Hatters, winning just four from 13.

With the security of a refund if the game ends in a draw, Orient looks like a nice price to continue their hot streak.

3pm: Doncaster Rovers v MK Dons โ€“ Doncaster to win

Doncaster swept past Barrow 1-3 in midweek to continue their fine form, which has seen them win three games in a row and climb to second in a tightly packed League Two promotion race.

Grant McCannโ€™s side are the current second-favourites for the title and will be looking at extending the gap against an inconsistent MK Dons side. Rovers have 25 points from 14 at home and have lost just three times.

Despite winning 2-1 against Harrogate, manager Scott Lindsay lambasted his sideโ€™s performance, claiming they were fortunate to escape with the win. Harrogate had more than double Donsโ€™ shots and triple the XG, so Lindsayโ€™s sentiments ring true.

Still, it was MKโ€™s first win in four games, so they will be delighted to stop the rot. A season that promised so much has flattered to deceive, but there is still lingering hope for a playoff finish. However, they must first improve their away form, with games on their travels seeing them pick up just 13 points.

3pm: Newport County v Barrow โ€“ Newport County draw no bet

A credible 1-1 draw at high-flying Salford halted a five-game losing streak for Newport County, who will be hoping to pick up some momentum in their relegation battle.

The Exileโ€™s poor run of form has seen them slump to 21st, just six points clear of the drop zone. Their form at Rodney Parade will be key to their renaissance- losing just four times in Wales this season.

Another positive that Nelson Jardim can take is that they have played four more away games than at home, and many of the teams around them still must make the journey to South Wales.

Barrow are in dire straits at the moment โ€“ a period that ultimately cost Stephen Clemence his job. The Bluebirds have played 20 games since the 28th of September, winning just three times โ€“ all at home. On their travels, they have struggled, picking up just nine points and two wins โ€“ both coming early in the season.

This should be a battle between two poor sides โ€“ a battle I expect the home side not to lose.
