The North London derby has been dominated by Arsenal in recent years and it’s a massive game. Tottenham have always looked to threaten Arsenal’s place in the Premier League table, but it’s never really happened for them.
There a massive bragging rights on offer in this one, but I can’t see past Arsenal, even though they’ve had a difficult run of late.
Declan Rice was rested at the weekend in the FA Cup loss to Man United, with this game in mind, and that shows where Mikel Arteta is placing his focus.
I think Arsenal will get the win, despite the pressure on Arteta and some ridiculous calls that he should be sacked, but there’s always goals when Spurs play – so I’m also going for both teams to score.
I fancy Rice to come back into the team and score in this game, he will have a point to prove after being rested, and will want to make his mark.
As for Spurs, I’m going for Dejan Kulusevski to score, he made the difference when he came on at the weekend in the FA Cup, He’s got some much class, he’s been Tottenham’s best player this year, and I think he’ll have a real impact on the game.
