Sunday is a busy one this weekend and Fulham take on Ipswich in the early Premier League fixture.

Paddy’s football tipster Shane O’Brien reckons the goals will fly at Craven Cottage.  He’s also backed a goal scorer pick too, which is covered by Paddy’s Super Sub offer, meaning if the player is substituted, the pick carries over to his replacement.

Let’s get his Fulham v Ipswich betting tips.

Fulham v Ipswich Bet Builder tips

Both teams to score: Yes

Fulham have not lost in their last seven Premier League games, a remarkable statistic considering they have played Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham in that run.

Marco Silva’s side have lost just once in their last 11 games and are within touching distance of the Champions League places at the midway stage of the season. It’s been a magnificent campaign so far for the Cottagers, but they have struggled to keep clean sheets, especially recently.

Fulham have kept just one clean sheet in that seven-game run and have kept just two clean sheets in their last 13 games. Meanwhile, both teams have found the back of the net in 11 of Fulham’s last 13 games and in 15 of their 19 games this season, including a 1-1 draw with Ipswich when they met back in August.

Ipswich recorded a potentially huge win over Chelsea in their final outing in 2024, to give their survival chances a real shot in the arm, and look more dangerous away from home than they do at Portman Road, scoring 10 of their 18 goals on thee road and securing two of their three league wins on their travels.

There is a good chance they will cause Fulham problems, but there is almost no chance they will shut Fulham out at the other end.

Harry Wilson to score anytime

Harry Wilson has now scored in back-to-back games for Fulham, nodding in the equaliser in Fulham’s win over Chelsea and following that up with another header to give them a 2-1 lead in their eventual 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

That is now five league goals for the season for the Welsh midfielder, leaving him second in Fulham’s goal scoring charts.

Wilson has proved to be a streaky player, scoring his previous three league goals in a two-game spell earlier in the season with a last-gasp brace in the win over Brentford, and followed that with a goal in Fulham’s win over Crystal Palace in the next game.

He’s good value to extend his current mini-scoring run against an Ipswich side that has conceded almost two goals per game this season.

Over 4.5 cards

Fulham and Ipswich are two of the worst-disciplined teams in the Premier League at the half-way stage of the season.

The two teams sit side by side in the league’s disciplinary table, with Ipswich currently 17th with 45 bookings and two red cards and Fulham sitting 18th with 46 bookings and two dismissals.

Both sides average well over two cards per game and are almost certain to accumulate a number of cards on Sunday.

Ipswich have committed the fourth-highest number of fouls in the league, while Fulham have been one of the best-disciplined teams in the division, in fouls per game.

Having said that, the teams shared five cards when they met in August, and it would be no great surprise if they did so again on Sunday.

Over 10.5 corners

Only four teams in the Premier League have conceded more corners this season than Ipswich.

Kieran McKenna’s side have faced an average of six corners per game, since winning promotion to the Premier League, which is hardly surprising considering they face the fifth-highest number of shots in the league.

That average is even higher in their away games, where they have faced an average of seven corners per game.

It would not be the biggest surprise in the world, if they were to face a similar number of corners in their trip to Craven Cottage on Sunday, while they should win a few of their own, considering they average over four corners per game and Fulham face an average of roughly five per game.

Between them, the two teams should clear 11 corners on Sunday.

Ipswich goalkeeper to make 4 or more saves

Ipswich face an average of around 15 shots per game, which rises to over 16 shots per game, when only their away games are taken into account.

They travel to Craven Cottage to take on a Fulham side averaging almost six shots on target per home game this season, and it could be a long afternoon for whoever starts in goal, whether it’s Aro Muric or Christian Walton, who deputised in the win over Chelsea.

Fulham had six shots on target in their recent 2-2 home draw with Bournemouth and a further five shots on target in their goalless home draw against Southampton before Christmas.

They could very well pepper the Ipswich goal with shots on Sunday.
