15:45 Ayr – Wise Move (Racing Post)
This can go to WISE MOVE, who won four 3m points in Ireland and should be well suited by today’s conditions. Winning novice Golden Point and last month’s course winner Topkapi Star (next best) are two others who should go well.
16:02 Lingfield – Pilsdon Pen (Daily Mirror)
While Royal Mer and Thor De Cerisy (second choice) have returned to some form and had better last season, PILSDON PEN would make plenty of appeal if his fitness could be assured on this return from 396 days off. Johnny Jump Up is seriously unexposed.
16:20 Ayr – The Jad Factor (The Sun)
Cowboy Cooper should come on for last month’s run over hurdles but the choice is last month’s Newcastle winner THE JAD FACTOR, who should improve further now he’s stepped back up in trip. The former Irish pointer Tory Hill is interesting on his chase/handicap debut.
18:00 Wolverhampton – City Cyclone (Telegraph)
Lord Rapscallion would have plenty going for him if able to transfer his recent Polytrack form to this surface but that’s up in the air. CITY CYCLONE defends an unbeaten record over C&D and although there’s a danger he could be revved up by running over 6f last time he still looked ahead of the handicapper when winning here in January. Fools Rush In can also be involved while Eden Storm gave off better signals here last time and is also in the reckoning.
